Glacier National Park had been calling us back to the road since we left it. However, it was the Tetons that captured our hearts this time.
After two nights in a noisy campground at $23 a night, we took for the hills of Gros Ventre Wilderness to camp in solitude and camp for free. We found a spot that the locals (Dan :) once called "Strawberry Hill," but now refer to as "Wedding Tree." This secluded spot gave us an unobstructed view of the Tetons and was just up the road from a well maintained pit toilet, trash cans, and potable water. And, at the peak season of summer, we had only one neighbor for a few days during the week and a half that we camped there.
In the area, we enjoyed the views, Andy climbed, visited Teton Mountaineering, soaked in hot springs, picked berries, relaxed, and waited for bison.
