I typed up this post twice before, but due to power issues it was deleted both times. So here's the short version:
Backpacked to Sykes Hot Springs in Big Sur. Stayed out there for 3 nights. Covered 20 miles. Got back on the morning of the 5th and saw Explosions in the Sky that night. Here's a sample of there work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuJ9m2eVYQ0&feature=fvst.
Picked up Oliver in Santa Cruz on the 6th and fixed some rv stuff. Oliver is a little puke machine right now, mostly just nerves. He has held down food more today. He's bright, curious, and slept solid last night.
Now we're on our way to San Francisco.
